tHE BUZZ: David Gordon Green's dramatization of Rachel Boynton's 2005 documentary finds itself in an odd critical arena: there are nods-to-raves for Sandra Bullock's performance as a political-campaign strategist, but there's little praise for the actual moviemaking. Some people point to the script from Peter Straughan, which is weird because he had a hand in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and"Wolf Hall," while others say Green's direction doesn't make much of the story's dramatic or comedic elements. We'll see if the adults show up for Sandra or not.
